The study has revealed that 82% of employees have said that they prefer working from home than from the office. 64% of employees have been told that they feel more productive and less stressed while working from home. The average one-way commuting time in the US is 27min, which means it takes them 1 hour for up and down for work. Culture insurance center reported that commuters spend almost about 100 hours commuting and 41 hours stuck in traffic. This leads to increased stress and anxiety about reaching the destination on time. Work from home doesn’t only mean from your home but from wherever you want. Even you can work from some exotic place, which allows you to have a vacation with your family after your vocational hours. This also meant that for your work you don’t need to shift at the places your office, you can work from your hometown. This helped in avoiding shifting in metro cities and costly home rents. Work from home has broken that boundaries or states and even countries to get placed in dream organizations.
Improved inclusivity
Working from home is not beneficial for only employees but for employers as well. Remote work allowed employers to hire from different socioeconomic geographic and cultural backgrounds with diverse perspectives. This way employers have got a wide range of options for selecting the right candidate. This is not possible if the work location is fixed, as not everyone can’t afford to relocate to the workplace due to some reasons.

One of the reasons behind the increased productivity of employees is fewer interruptions and fewer office politics. Work from home has allowed employees to pursue some of their favorite hobbies which also keeps their dopamine high and helps them to perform effectively during working hours.
