Every historic place is a memory of revolutions, culture, protests, love, heritage, and many more. It found that many historical sites in the USA are at risk of irreparable damage. From harsh climatic conditions to pollution, these wonders are slowly dying, erasing their cult significance.
Trujillo Adobe
Being the oldest building in Riverside, constructed in 1862, Trujillo Adobe has many mysteries. Stories are surrounding the migration and further settlement of Genizaro in California. Sadly it is deteriorating, and authorities are trying to convert it to a cultural site to expose its historical importance to the masses.
Boston Harbor Islands Boston Harbor Islands is one of the ancient and historic landmarks with native American archeological landscape. Many resources on the island get damaged due to rising sea levels.
Oljato Trading Post Located on the western edge of Utah, added to the National Register of Historic places in 1980. Now it is a spot of tourist attention, the earlier mainstay of Navajo communities.
Morningstar Tabernacle, Order of Moses Cemetery and Hall
Moses Cemetery and Hall, established in 1885 along Gibson Grove. It served as a place representing the local black community.
The Riverside Hotel
The hotel opened as a stay house for Black people in the 1940s, which eventually extended with more guest rooms. Owned by the Ratliff family, Riverside Hotel was a trademark in the American musical history for the Delta Blues Sound.
Unfortunately, a storm in 2020 caused damage to the building, and now seeking reconstruction funds.
