September was a big month for the Netflix viewers, their favorite shows hitting the screen with their extraordinary new seasons. The high school students of Moordale secondary have a different fan base. Every new season of sex education fills drama, comedy, and information to its brim. This time it was about contemporary relationships, unique shades of emotion, and a new head Teacher. Well, this time, fans got a different experience in terms of entertainment, which satisfied their excitement.
While season 2 ended with Issac deleting the voice mail of Otis to Maeve, we were expecting the dimensions of this sequence. Still, contrary to that, we got to witness the stunning chemistry between Otis and Ruby. Ruby, the rude fashionista of Moordale, got the best of all character development, and she had gained a separate fan base by the end of this season. Apart from that, we see Eric – Adam’s relation getting a new turn and how Adam is exploring himself slowly but passionately. While the season ends with the heart-touching poem of Adam, we also see Eric getting closer to this authentic self.
We see the beautiful bond shared by Meave and Aimee got more potent in this season. The duo will tear up your eyes with their heart-touching scenes and how they take the roles of each other’s mum. The fight between the girls questioning each other’s insecurities and privileges was overwhelming. Aimee changed a lot after the sexual assault on the bus, and we also see how she decides to end her close relationship with Steve.
We know that sex education deals with multiple plots giving equal importance to each of them. The relationship between couples, parents, friends, siblings, everything is portrayed with fine emotional detailing. From Dr. Milburn to Ola, each character conflicts with their family roles, and we can closely feel their awkwardness and helplessness at the same time. Jakob and Otis take their friendship to another level, and it will be interesting to see their sequences further. Jean’s take as a mother of a baby girl will be exciting, and together with Jakob, we may get another round of parenting lessons. Another subplot gaining interest is that Jackson is a beautiful character who has always remained honest, committed to Cal and Jackson’s relationship. We see a different turn of Jackson dealing with Cal and more emotional scenes with his lesbian moms.
The discussion will go in vain if we don’t talk about Adam. Adam Groff is the center of this season. From being a rude, carefree, good-for-nothing guy, now he is on his journey to find his purpose and reality. The way his and Eric’s relationship ended was quite disappointing, but Adam has Madame, which is the best kind of love in the world. More twists are cooking up for the coming seasons, and our wait is worth it.
This season ended with many questions. Will leave- Otis relation be forever? What will be the future of Jakob and Jean? Will the Groff family get back together? What will be the change in Aimee? Will Hope return to Moordale? Will there be a Moordale in the first place? Next time it’s going to be more fun with Moordale secondary and sex kids!
