Science as a subject is completely filled with interesting facts, laws, postulates, theories, and hypothesis. The following article is composed of some of the most interesting theories of science which may blow your mind or at least make you think about something new today.
THE MENDELIAN GENEALOGY
Gregor Mendel’s pea pod breeding experiments established the way for today’s understanding of heredity. His idea was groundbreaking at the time, demonstrating how pea size and blossom color could be traced back to parent plants (genetic inheritance does not always work out as Mendel expected, but the studies were methodically carried out). It was also mostly overlooked. Mendel’s laws were not duplicated in a way that made sense to botanists until 1900. What happened to the puzzle pieces? We’d discovered chromosomes by that time, providing a biological vehicle for Mendel’s genetics.
BLACK MATTER THEORY
Only One aspect about the increase of the cosmos was slightly certain during the end of 19th century. Maybe it has sufficient energy density to affect its growth and collapse, or maybe it has could so little amount of energy density that it would never stop expanding, but the effect of gravity would invariably reduce the enlargement over time. Although the reduction was not being witnessed, the whole cosmos, hypothetically, had to slow. Our universe is very densely compact with matter, and the gravitational force attracts it all together. The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) observations of very distant supernovae in 1998 revealed that the cosmos was growing more slowly than it is now a long time ago.
UNIVERSE IS A HOLOGRAM
This hypothesis proposes that the universe we see is nothing more than a hologram formed by the universe itself, rather than a complex computer simulation. The theory is that the faraway stars and galaxies we see when we look up at the night sky are more like an image projected on a wall. When stripped down to the most fundamental of energy scales, this holographic concept could explain why the universe appears frail. Keep in mind that a holographic image is created when a laser beam covers an item, and then a second laser beam leaps off the reflective surface of the first.
The image is then illuminated by another light source to create the holograph. If changes in gravitational waves are created by distinct patterns of light, this holographic picture production process might be simulated. And if this hypothesis is ever proven right, it will require us to change a lot of our preconceived notions about the cosmos.
ARE THERE MANY WORLDS? – MANY WORLDS THEORY
The many worlds theory, when it comes to the multiverse, has a slightly different explanation for the existence of innumerable other universes. It affirms the objective reality of space while inferring that matter cannot be condensed to the point of singularity using quantum physics. Rather than new universes arising spontaneously from black holes, the many worlds theory claims that a new universe is created every time humans decide. So, every time you have to choose between paper and plastic, coffee or tea, debit, or credit, you’re essentially creating a new universe where you choose the opposite.
The above theories and laws are to promote the importance of thinking and analyzing the world around and beyond, as it exists in our imagination. There are many more theories about the matter, space, technology, organisms, human mind, behaviors, psychedelics, and many more which are very informative and interesting to study about.
Science as domain is all about life in and out of imagination and creativity to a great extent.
